We believe that future success is built on strong foundations and focus on "filling in the gaps" of a child's development in order to enhance their strengths and facilitate improvements in their areas of weakness. JAIME MCHALE
MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Jaime is the co-owner and Director of Right Starts OT. She received her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in Utica, New York in 2006. Jaime has co-developed the STARS; Social Skills Training and Readiness Skills program and co-authored the publication of the program’s manual. Jaime is a provider for Brain Gym, The Listening Program, Interactive Metronome and Kinesiotape. She has also attended other various continuing education courses including NDT techniques, Total Motion Release for Tots, Understanding and Managing Visual Deficits, and If You Can’t Breathe, You Can’t Function. Jaime has attended several courses focusing on best practice in treatment in Autism. Jaime adopts both a clinical and holistic approach within her practice and believes that treatment must address the whole child; taking special consideration of each one’s physical, emotional and social well-being.
BRIAN MCHALE
MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Brian is the co-owner and Director of Right Starts OT. He received his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in 2006. Brian brings an extensive background in orthopedics and complex medical conditions, providing services across a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, schools and home-care with children and adults. Brian is a certified Brain Gym Provider and has completed training in Kinesiotaping and Respiratory Rehabilitation through Mary Massory’s If You Can’t Breathe, You Can’t Function. He also has extensive experience with presenting at the national level on topics relevant to occupational therapy. Brian enjoys creating fun, yet challenging treatment sessions for his clients and guiding them to success each week.
